This page explains what MTAL Enterprises LLC ("MTAL", "we") collects through mtalenterprises.com and the resident and owner portal, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Rental applications: the name, phone, email and answers you type into the application form.
• Residents: your name, email and phone, your lease, your payment history, your maintenance requests and any photos you attach, messages you send us, and your reminder choices.
• Owners: property, lease, payment and expense records for the company, and account names and balances read from the company's own QuickBooks Online file.
• Sign in: your email, a password you set, and a 6-digit code from an authenticator app.

We do not ask for or store Social Security numbers, dates of birth, photo ID, bank account numbers or card numbers anywhere on this site.

How we use it

To review applications, run our rentals, keep records of rent and repairs, send rent reminders and account emails, and answer you. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

QuickBooks Online

The owner side of the portal connects to MTAL's own QuickBooks Online company through Intuit. The connection is read only. It reads account names and balances so the owners can see them in the portal. Nothing from QuickBooks is shown to residents or the public, and nothing is shared with anyone outside the company. An owner can disconnect it at any time.

Who helps us run the site

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Portal data is stored with Supabase. Email is sent through Resend. Rent is paid through Baselane, which has its own privacy policy and handles your payment details directly. These companies process information only to provide their service to us.

Cookies

The portal keeps you signed in using storage in your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Keeping it and removing it

We keep rental records for as long as the law and our record keeping require. You can ask to see or correct what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.
